Introducing the latest addition to our collection; we’ve used a hardwearing grey toned colour-wash paint on our large, low coffee table to add a hint of subtle colour to your ‘beach house’ style living space.

This mellow rustic square coffee table has been inspired by the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, only a short distance from our Somerset workshop and a place with many great memories of lazy family days spent relaxing on and exploring the windswept beaches.

This particular piece measures 30 cm height x 100 cm long x 100 cm wide, with a ‘slab’ style table top measuring 6 cm deep, each handmade to order from our west country workshop.

Be inspired by our modern rustic furniture with a modernist, eco-friendly design twist; each piece is designed by Marc and handcrafted to order by Marc and our talented team in our Somerset workshop using traditional joinery techniques.

Our chunky large low coffee table has extra thick legs to support the slab style solid wooden table top and at 30 cm high this adds a sleek, low Japanese style to your modern rustic living room.

Our gorgeous mirror shelf with reclaimed wood and sustainable timber frame is a great way to bring some mellow Somerset farmhouse eco chic into your home, wherever you are!

This handmade mirror shelf with a rustic yet elegant curved reclaimed wooden frame has been thoughtfully designed by Marc and features his signature dovetail joint detail at the corners; Marc gathered his inspiration from the undulating twisted timber window frames, aged beams and vintage fireplaces in our local Somerset churches and farmhouses; the practical ‘candle’ shelf projects a spacious 8 cm from the mirror glass.

This inbuilt solid wooden shelf is a stylish design twist and also helpful as additional storage space in your hall or bathroom; the 8 cm deep shelf is great for keys, makeup, hairbrush, toothbrushes and other small essentials.

We can help with your clothing storage and organisation this autumn; our premium eco-friendly wooden chest of drawers is traditionally handmade in our Somerset workshop. With our bespoke service it’s your choice of size, how many drawers, even the Danish Oil finish is a bespoke mix, so it’s completely up to you!

There is a crispness in the air, sometime within the next few weeks the wood burner will be lit for the first time since early Spring, Rachel is online searching for (super easy!) homemade soup recipes and our thoughts turn to those household jobs we somehow just didn’t get around to completing (or even starting) while we were enjoying our sun drenched garden and a cheeky gin and elderflower tonic.

For us, even 20 plus years after leaving full time education, September still has something of the ‘new term, new start’ feel about it all and now our son is actually starting a new term at school it gives us a timely reminder to get back to work in our Somerset workshop.; after all, our new bedroom furniture designs, like our chest of drawers, aren’t going to craft themselves.

Autumn is a great time for some de-cluttering and re-organisation;

We do have many jobs at home that also need attention, though; for instance, our attic bedroom badly needs some tidying and organisation. Piles of clothes, awesome hats, unsuitable but gorgeous shoes, dusty leather bags; all lying about discarded and seemingly unloved.

Our handmade chest of drawers has been updated to add 2 extra drawers for even more stylish storage.

This new release is taller and wider, with 2 extra half width drawers for extra storage space; Marc’s newest design sits within our current handmade bedroom furniture range and continues to artfully fuse the contoured corners and clean lines of mid century modern and Scandinavian furniture styles with a rustic Somerset farmhouse vibe.

Our signature traditionally hand cut handles offer a simple and harmonious feel to this bedroom storage classic, while the specially selected timbers beautifully showcase the natural character of the eco-friendly wood grain.
